4 Services and Support : 4.7 For Your Information Technology (IT) Needs : 4.7.6 Getting Connected

You will need to use your McGill Username and McGill Password to access the services listed below. You can find more details on these services at
Wireless: Access the Internet using your laptop or other mobile device from virtually anywhere on campus, through the McGill Wireless network. Log in to the Wireless network using your McGill Username and McGill Password.
Virtual Private Network (VPN): If you connect to the Internet with an Internet Service Provider (ISP), you need to establish a VPN connection to access McGill restricted sites and resources (e.g., Library databases). Connect by VPN using your McGill Username and McGill Password. For instructions on setting up a VPN connection, search the IT Knowledge Base at
McGill Residences Telecommunications: For students living in McGill Residences and McGill Off-Campus Residences, there is REZ Voice and Data service (wired and wireless). For more information search the IT Knowledge Base at
