7.3.6.6
Because a large portion of the curriculum is available electronically, admitted students are expected to have, or have frequent and regular access to, a personal computer with word processing/office suite software, compatible web browser (see WebCT (E-Curriculum)) and Internet connection. Portable workstations such as laptops with wireless network connectivity (Wi-Fi/802.11b or greater; see McGill Wireless Networks at www.mcgill.ca/it) are recommended. On campus, students may have access to restricted computer laboratories, laser printers, and limited workstations (including Macs) for temporary assistance.
Be advised that electronic media, multimedia and other information technologies are used by the Faculty for teaching purposes and to promote learning, including being subject to being audio- and/or video-recorded as part of the program, for example at the McGill Medical Simulation Centre. By submitting your application, you are indicating your agreement with these terms.

Changes are made after the publishing of this Calendar. Always check the Class Schedule at www.mcgill.ca/students/courses/calendars for the most up-to-date information. This includes class times, locations and instructors.

Note: “you” refers to students newly admitted, readmitted or returning to McGill.

Use the Course Search for descriptions of all courses and the term when they are offered. Search for courses using specific keywords in the free-form field. Note: not all courses listed here are offered every term or year.
