3.6 The University Exam Regulations governed by the University Student Assessment Policy are available at www.mcgill.ca/students/exams/regulations.In addition to the University Student Assessment Policy (available on the Secretariat website) and the general examination regulations listed at www.mcgill.ca/students/exams/regulations, you should also consult the faculty sections of this publication for particular regulations. You will be informed of the evaluation method used in each course by the end of the Course Change period.Responses on multiple-choice examinations are normally checked by the Exam Security Computer Monitoring Program. The program detects pairs of students with unusually similar answer patterns on multiple-choice examinations. Data generated by the program can be used as admissible evidence either to initiate or corroborate an investigation or a charge of cheating under Section 16 of the Code of Student Conduct and Disciplinary Procedures.All students are responsible for familiarizing themselves with the University Student Assessment Policy (available on the Secretariat website) and the Code of Student Conduct and Disciplinary Procedures (available at www.mcgill.ca/students/exams/regulations).
